Warranty
WoodMaxx warrants that its equipment is free from defects in materials and workmanship, effective from the date of original purchase, as follows — unless otherwise noted.

* MX-Series coverage is transferable only if purchased secondhand with a verifiable original serial number. Units purchased on or after February 1, 2025 receive 7 years or 1,000 hours, whichever comes first. Units purchased before that date receive 3 years, non-transferable.
Component coverage
- Electrical components: 60 days from delivery.
- Hydraulic hoses: 30 days.
- PTO shafts: 90 days.
- Proof of purchase (original receipt) is required for all claims. This is a parts-only warranty and does not cover labor.
- Replacement parts ship USPS or UPS Ground; expedited shipping is at the customer's expense. Photos may be required.
Limitations
- Excludes normal wear and tear, commercial or rental use, aftermarket modification, negligence, misuse and off-label use.
- Repairs do not extend the warranty period.
- If the customer cannot or will not perform the labor, WoodMaxx will take the machine back and issue a prorated refund based on usage, with missing parts deducted. Return shipping cost is decided case by case.
- WoodMaxx is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness, are limited to the duration and terms of this express written warranty.
Exclusions
- Belts, knives, engines and hydraulic hoses are specifically excluded from this warranty.
- No liability for incidental damage to tractors or other machinery.
- Shipping damage must be noted on the bill of lading at delivery; you have the right to refuse a severely damaged machine.
- Cosmetic imperfections — including powder coating blemishes, paint flaking or minor surface defects — are not covered and do not constitute grounds for repair, replacement or refund.
- For optimal performance and safety, all chipper knives MUST be sharpened at the WoodMaxx facility. Attempting to sharpen knives yourself WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
Warranty parts policy
If a part is backordered we will notify you; we are not liable for delay or consequential damages. A deposit may be required when a defective part must be returned, and refusal to commit to a deposit may result in parts not being shipped.
